Medina haluwwe. I quickly learned how to say "This city is beautiful" - because it is. My apartment is of walking distance to the blue, blue Mediterranean Sea, which provides a great deal of natural beauty to this bustling urban center. Funny thing is there are also all these tankers and armed military men who are stationed around our neighborhood, on the beach, and in the shopping mall areas. Can you imagine tankers chillin by Tysons Mall? No. Gotta get used to that.
