I have yet to grasp the firework phenomenon in this city. We hear fireworks on the regular here. And yes, oftentimes during the day time while the sun is still out and brightly shining. At times, I do find it enchanting. But not gonna lie, sometimes it just gets rather annoying when they continually blow up stuff for holidays, weddings, elections, sports game victories, political party speeches, for kicks and giggles, etc. all over the neighborhood. For example, fireworks from every corner of my neighborhood are the last thing I want to see or hear when I am on a long-distance Skype call while my unreliable internet is already cutting out. This is a short clip from a whole day that people in my area set off fireworks and gun shots from morning into the mid-afternoon time. Ah well, at least they're happy. I hope! :)
